A lot of people are becoming more aware of how their nutrition affects their physical and mental health. For example, regular consumption of processed food increases the risks for chronic diseases and even some forms of cancer.

Too much sugar boosts the odds of type 2 diabetes while a particular composition of the gut microbiome impacts the body’s immune function. As healthcare costs increase and the number of people with chronic diseases rises, both the government and consumers are looking for healthier options.

Natural fruit and vegetable juices and smoothies, which have a thicker consistency than juices, can contain vitamins and minerals, as well as dietary fiber. This fiber can help reduce hunger pangs, slow down glucose absorption, and promote healthier gut flora.
