Annette’s fingering weight gauntlets knit up in Black Trillium Merilon Sock in Chennai
We’ve done it again: we’re publishing another prodigious pattern designed by our own coworker, Annette. These fingerless mitts are to die for–and they’re just the thing for keeping warm in the remaining wet and cold period before true summertime arrives. With their chic chevron-and-eyelet pattern, these mitts spice up any outfit. Constructed with either sport or fingering weight yarn, their lightweight fabric keeps your hands warm while allowing your skin to breathe when it’s humid and rainy. Chevron stitch, while easy to knit, looks elegantly intricate and is a great way to experiment with variegated yarn. Annette’s Chevron Gauntlet pattern has options for using either fingering or sport weight, as well as both a long cuff version and a shorter cuff version.
