Once you read Brian’s staff bio, you’ll see it’s no surprise he’s chosen this book as his favorite in the shop! We’re just happy he’s loaned us Cthulhu, to sit on our front desk.
Staff Member: Brian (read more about Brian here!)
I received this book as a birthday present a couple of years ago and immediately fell in love with it! All of the designs are super simple, super cute and really have a lot of character. This crochet book is perfect for anyone who wants to get into the world of amigurumi. The majority of the stitches are single crochets, increases and decreases so even a beginner crocheter could create these creatures. There are patterns ranging from the vampire queen to Cthulhu (the Ancient One described in H.P. Lovecraft’s “Call of Cthulhu”).
The patterns don’t just stop at the end of the book. You can use all of the basic shapes to create your own patterns of your own! Just change the colors, create a couple of accessories and you have an original design. I would highly recommend this book for all crocheters because, honestly, who doesn’t need a stuffed Death sitting on your desk at work?

I really needed to show this unique article, “Staff Pick: Creepy Cute Crochet |
Portland, OR” with my personal good friends on facebook itself.
I personallyjust desired to pass on your very
good publishing! Thx, Ezekiel
