Evan is currently working on a patten that will be coming out in the next few weeks, which helps explain his love for not one, but two books we have on our shelves!
Staff Member: Evan (read more about Evan here!)
“Charts Made Simple” helps decode the mystery behind charts and why they are written the way they are,” he says. “Each chapter comes with a quiz at the end, which helps you know if you’ve understood everything you’ve just read. I didn’t think I needed to know anything more about chart reading until it was suggested I check out this book, and it was a bonus it’s written by a local author!”
Evan also mentioned “Charts Made Simple” has definitely helped him with the pattern he’s working on, as well as in reading the valuable “1000 Knitting Patterns Book,” a collection he considers “an inspirational source of stitch patterns, many of which I haven’t seen before.” It’s true – this book has just about everything, including the adorable whale pattern featured in our upcoming Whale Hat class, at Happy Knits!

Your site is very nice and attractive. Really I have never seen this kind of post before.
