Shawls and Summer go Hand-in-hand

It’s true, isn’t it? If you’re anything like me, somewhere around June your hands start getting clammy and knitting with that Aran weight is just not an option (at least while not in a severely climate-controlled environement) no matter how enchanted you may have been by the project when you cast on in May.
What do we knitters do? Being fickle creatures (and I’m writing this post from a place of self-reflection here), we abandon our woolly wool and our thick quick knits and cast on something light, airy, and lacy.
Sweet Dreams by Boo Knits (this one is a contender for my Ravelympics project maybe out of TML in Antler that we just got in… If I can wait that long!)
Lisa One Skein Shawl by Michelle Miller
Whippoorwill by Carina Spencer
See anything that tickles your fancy?

Gorgeous, all of them! Love that lace edge on Sweet Dreams.
