Celebrate Good Times

I want to thank all of our lovely customers who made it to our shop this weekend! The anniversary party was a blast and we love the community we’ve created over the past three years!
We had some well dressed knitters come into the shop. One finished her button band right before the party!
This Tapestry sweater looks perfect for fall, and this customer’s version made a lot of us queue the pattern up on Ravelry!
Some of my coworkers have been on a Heidi Kirrmaier sweater kick (Jolie is wearing Vitamin D later in this blog post). We loved to see this gorgeous version of Atelier, knit out of handspun!
We raffled off three gift baskets, filled with yarn, notions, patterns, organizer pouches and needles to knit a project! Knit Picks even donated a set of their new Sunstruck interchangeable needle sets to each basket. By the way, we will start carrying the Sunstruck needles in the shop soon!
Annette baked and decorated delicious yarn-themed cupcakes! Some looked like balls of yarn with knitting needles, and some looked like a sheep!
There was also some hilarious karaoke! Who knew knitters were so multi-talented? It was so much fun to spend the evening with knitters and crocheters, catch up with old friends, and get to know new people.
